Build stronger, more resilient wrists for handstands, calisthenics, and other weight-bearing movements through targeted mobility, strength, and progressive loading.
This 20–25 minute wrist-focused workout develops the mobility, strength, and load tolerance needed to support your body confidently on your hands. You’ll progress from wrist preparation into weight-bearing drills, direct strengthening, grip work, and handstand-specific loading.
Use this workout 1–2 times per week alongside your existing handstand or upper-body training. It can be completed as a standalone wrist-strength session or added before lighter handstand practice. If your wrists are already heavily loaded in your training, allow adequate recovery between sessions.
Build your tolerance gradually. Your wrists adapt to load just like any other area of the body. Prioritize controlled, comfortable ranges and progressively increase how much weight you place through your hands rather than forcing deeper positions.
