Knee Control Foundations

Develop stronger, more stable knees with this lower-body foundation workout. Combining mobility drills, targeted activation, tendon-loading exercises, and hamstring strengthening, this session improves knee control, lower-leg strength, and overall movement quality. Whether you’re returning from an injury, building resilience, or preparing for more advanced lower-body training, this workout creates the strength and stability needed for confident, pain-free movement.

Overview

Build a Strong Foundation

This session progresses from joint preparation into activation, strengthening, and tendon-loading exercises before finishing with posterior chain work to support healthy knee mechanics. Focus on slow, controlled repetitions and maintaining proper knee alignment throughout each movement. Work within a pain-free range and prioritize quality over speed. Perform this workout 2–3 times per week to improve knee stability, reduce movement compensations, and build a stronger foundation for squats, lunges, running, jumping, and flexibility training.
