Workout

Strong Ankles Foundation

A focused ankle and foot development session designed to build stronger, more mobile, and more stable lower legs. This workout combines joint mobility, loaded ankle movements, lower-leg strengthening, balance training, and pointe-specific flexibility to improve ankle control and durability. By developing both strength and range of motion, this session helps create a stronger foundation for athletic performance, deep squats, running mechanics, and advanced flexibility skills.

Overview

Build a Strong Foundation

This workout progresses from ankle mobility into strengthening, balance, and end-range flexibility work. Begin by creating controlled movement through the ankle joint, then build strength through the muscles surrounding the foot and lower leg before finishing with stability and flexibility exercises. Focus on quality repetitions, slow control, and maintaining proper foot alignment. Use this session 2–4 times per week as a foundation for improving lower-body mechanics, ankle resilience, and movement performance.
